CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

Conditions for the admission of minors

At Unik Cartagena we care for the welfare and safety of minors.

For this reason, at the moment of staying in our apartments the following documents must be presented:

IF THE MINOR IS TRAVELING IN THE COMPANY OF HIS OR HER PARENTS 

If the minor has Colombian nationality:

• Civil registry of birth (can be physical or digital) of the minor that corroborates the degree of kinship. 
• Original identity document of the parents.

If the minor is a foreigner:

• Civil registry, birth certificate or homologous document that allows accrediting the kinship of the adults with the minor. 
• Original identity document of the parents

IF THE MINOR IS NOT TRAVELING WITH HIS OR HER PARENTS

If the minor has Colombian nationality:

• Civil registry of birth. The identity card is not valid. 
• Copy of the parents’ identification documents. 
• Original identification document of the person(s) authorized to travel with the minor.

Original permit signed by at least one of the minor’s parents, specifying the name of the place where the minor will be staying, the dates of check-in and check-out, name and identification number of the person they authorize to stay with the minor.   

If the minor is not a Colombian Citizen:

• Civil registry, birth certificate or homologous document.  
• Copy of the parents’ identification document  
• Original permission signed by at least one of the minor’s parents.

WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENTATION, MINORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAY IN THE APARTMENTS. THE ABOVE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF LAW 679 OF 2001 (STATUTE TO PREVENT THE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS) AND ITS CONCORDANT RULES.
